Today’s linear system uses large amounts of resources and has negative impacts on the environment. Non-renewable resources are extracted to produce clothes that are often used for only a short period, after which the materials are largely lost to landfill or incineration.1 According to the research, the product longevity by two will decrease its climate impact by half.2
We believe that providing the products longest life possible is one of many ways towards a more sustainable fashion future. To achieve this, we organize free “upcycling workshops” for university students and anyone interests in creative reuse.
Our aim is to provide a place for young generations to learn new skills, customize and upcycling their current clothes and inspire a mindset shift whereby nothing goes to waste.
